Edmonton Oilers defencman Justin Schultz will be sidelined 2-4 weeks due to a back injury.

Schultz, 25, has one point in nine games and is averaging 21:46 of ice time per game. He sat out the Oilers' last game, a 4-3 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday.

In four NHL seasons, all with the Oilers, Schultz has 25 goals and 92 points in 212 games.
