Oilers transfer forward Joensuu to SC Bern of Swiss Elite League
The Edmonton Oilers have transferred winger Jesse Joensuu to SC Bern of the Swiss Elite League. Joensuu posted four points (two goals, two assists) and 14 penalty minutes in 20 games with the Oilers this season.

Joensuu posted four points (two goals, two assists) and 14 penalty minutes in 20 games with the Oilers this season.
The Oilers placed Joensuu on waivers on Nov. 30. The native of Pori, Finland, is in the second year of a two-year contract.
