After finishing first and second in the MLG Americas Minor Championship, OpTic Gaming and Tempo Storm have booked their tickets to the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive ESL One: Cologne Qualifier.

Both teams topped their groups and collided in the Winners’ Finals. OpTic emerged victorious and sent Tempo Storm into the loser’s bracket to face Team SoloMid. The Brazilian squad was too much for TSM in a 2-0 sweep and went back up to square off against OpTic one more time.

The Grand Finals, which OpTic won, was merely a formality as both teams had already earned a spot in the Cologne qualifier.

OpTic and Tempo Storm join winners and runner-ups from the Asian Minor, CIS Minor, Europe Minor and the bottom eight from the Columbus Major in the final qualifier to fill out the field for ESL One: Cologne. The top eight teams from the Columbus major are already through to Cologne.

The teams competing in the final qualifier from June 9-12 in Katowice, Poland are:

• Gambit Gaming
• G2 Esports
• Splyce
