Flyweight Zach Makovsky will have a new opponent at UFC 206 in Toronto as he will now face Dustin Ortiz at the Air Canada Centre on December 10th, the UFC confirmed to TSN on Monday.

Seventh ranked Makovsky was originally slated to face ninth ranked John Moraga, but an injury has forced him off the Toronto card.

Ortiz, the 10th ranked flyweight fighter in the UFC, comes into the fight trying to break a two bout losing streak.  He was defeated by Wilson Reis in January and Jussier Formiga in September.

Makovsky is also trying to get on track after a two fight downturn, as he most recently fell to Joseph Benavidez in February and before that to John Dodson at UFC 187.

UFC 206 will be headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between champion Daniel Cormier and number one ranked contender Anthony Johnson.
