TSN and Powerade are teaming up to showcase 24 of Canada's future stars today.
This week, the spotlight is on hockey player Mathew Barzal.
The 16-year-old Burnaby, BC native was the first overall selection by the Seattle Thunderbirds in the 2012 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
Last year, he led the BC Major Midget League in scoring with 103 points in just 34 games for the Vancouver NE Chiefs.
He has signed with the Thunderbirds in hopes of making it to the next level.
