Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - The San Diego Padres activated outfielder Wil Myers off the 15-day disabled list Thursday.

Myers had been sidelined with a wrist injury and last played May 11. He missed six games before heading to the DL on May 19 and just completed a three-game minor league rehab stint at Triple-A El Paso, going 5-for-15 with a home run.

In his first season with San Diego, Myers entered Thursday's action batting .291 with five homers and 19 RBI in 32 games. He was acquired from Tampa Bay in the offseason.

The Padres opened a roster spot by optioning pitcher Kevin Quackenbush to El Paso.
