The Florida Panthers and forward Aleksander Barkov have agreed to a six-year deal worth $35.4 million. Barkov has 12 goals and 18 assists in 38 games so far this season for the Panthers.

The 20-year-old was selected second overall in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft and made his debut for the Panthers during the 2013-14 season.
