New York, NY - The National Football League released its 2015 regular-season schedule on Tuesday.

The New England Patriots' quest for a repeat begins on Sept. 10 when they host the Pittsburgh Steelers in Thursday night's opener of the 2015 NFL season.

Kickoff weekend features 13 games on Sept. 13, with the first Sunday night primetime matchup featuring the New York Giants traveling to Arlington to take on the Dallas Cowboys.

In the annual Thanksgiving showcase games on Nov. 26 during Week 12, the Philadelphia Eagles will be visiting Detroit to play the Lions in the opener and the Cowboys clash with the Carolina Panthers in Arlington in the middle tilt.

The Green Bay Packers will host their longtime NFC North rival Chicago Bears in the nightcap. The Packers are expected to retire Brett Favre's No. 4 that night.

This year's schedule features rematches of both the AFC and NFC Championship Games. The Seattle Seahawks and Packers do battle at Lambeau Field on Sunday night to highlight Week 2, while the Patriots and Indianapolis Colts square off on Sunday night at Lucas Oil Stadium in Week 6.

In games showcasing notable returns, DeMarco Murray goes back to Dallas for the first time when the Eagles meet the Cowboys on Sunday night in Week 9. LeSean McCoy visits Philadelphia for the first time since his trade to Buffalo when the Bills play the Eagles in Week 14. Darrelle Revis comes back to Foxborough in Week 7 when the Pats and New York Jets do battle.

Peyton Manning and Tom Brady face off again in Week 12 on Sunday night when the Denver Broncos host the Patriots.

London will get three contests again this season with the Jets-Miami Dolphins in Week 4, Jacksonville Jaguars-Buffalo in Week 7 and Kansas City Chiefs-Detroit in Week 8.

Byes for teams go from Week 4 through Week 11.

Once again, every Week 17 contest will pit divisional opponents against one another, with all games to be held on Sunday, Jan. 3.

Wild Card weekend is set for January 9-10, with the divisional round the following weekend. The AFC and NFC championship games will be played Sunday, Jan. 24.

Super Bowl 50 is scheduled for Feb. 7, 2016 in Santa Clara, California at Levi's Stadium.
