New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Two goaltenders -- Winnipeg Jets netminder Ondrej Pavelec and Tampa Bay's Ben Bishop -- along with Ottawa Senators forward Kyle Turris were selected as the NHL's top players for the week ending March 22.

Pavelec earned the First Star after posting a 3-0-0 record, league-best .970 save percentage and 0.97 GAA to help the Jets jump into the final wild-card slot in the Western Conference. His best performance of the week was a 28- save, 3-0 shutout victory over Washington on Saturday night.

Turris netted the Second Star honors by posting an NHL-best four goals and tied for the lead with six points as Ottawa recorded three victories to remain in the playoff chase. He posted three points (2G, 1A) in a 6-4 win over the Bruins last Thursday.

Bishop took home Third Star after he won all three of his starts last week, posting a 2.00 GAA and .935 save percentage for the Lightning, who are challenging Montreal for the top spot in the Atlantic Division.
