Anaheim Ducks forward Corey Perry, who incurred an lower-body injury in the Ducks' game Monday night, is currently undergoing evaluation at a hospital in the Anaheim area, team head coach Randy Carlyle said postgame. Carlyle did not provide further details beyond this.

Perry collided with Carolina Hurricanes forward Jeff Skinner during the first period and did not return. The Ducks went on to win the game 3-2.

The 32-year-old Perry has played in all 31 of the Ducks' games this season, scoring six goals and handing out 16 assists. He is in his 12th season after being drafted by the club 28th overall in 2003.

Perry won the Stanley Cup during the 2006-07 season with the Ducks. During the 2010-11 campaign, he won the Hart Trophy as the league's most valuable player after he led the league in scoring with 50 goals. The native of Peterborough, Ont., has also won three gold medals representing Canada at the senior level.
