The Pittsburg Pirates received starting pitcher Ivan Nova from the New York Yankees for players to be named later according to a report by MLB.com’s Jonathan Mayo.

Nova, who becomes an unrestricted free-agent at the end of the season, is 7-6 with a 4.90 ERA in 15 starts this year.

The 29-year-old has been with New York since being signed by the organization as an amateur free agent in 2004. He holds a 53-39 record with a 4.41 ERA in 131 appearances (118 games as a starter) in seven seasons with the club.

The Yankees have been a part of numerous trades this season, headlined by Aroldis Chapman, Andrew Miller and Carlos Beltran.

The team sits five and a half games out of a Wild Card spot.
