Each night during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, TSN Hockey analyst and former NHL goaltender Jamie McLennan provides his Post 2 Post rankings for every goaltender in action. On Thursday night, Martin Jones was perfect in the San Jose Sharks' Game 7 win.

--

Pekka Rinne (2) - Rinne was sharp early on, tracking pucks well and making big saves on Brent Burns and Joe Pavelski. He had no chance on the power-play goal by Pavelski, but he then kept the Predators in the game with a fine stop on Logan Couture and another on Pavelski. The Joel Ward goal was the result of an unreal play and then Rinne was beaton five-hole by Couture on a bad turnover by Shea Weber. Rinne was not good at handling the puck at times, which allowed some good chances against. He made a great save on Ward when it was 3 - 0 and flashed a great glove save on Pavelski on a tip in front. The 4-0 goal was a four-on-one play and an example of how Rinne was hung out to dry on Thursday. Rinne received a mercy pull from Peter Laviolette after the fifth goal, but he was the only reason why the game wasn't even more lopsided.

Carter Hutton (N/R) - Hutton wasn't really tested in what was simply mop-up duty.

Martin Jones (5) - Jones wasn't tested early and his first good save came against Filip Forsberg late in the first period. He made a big save on James Neal early in the second and a fine save on Viktor Arvidsson in the third on what was only his 10th shot against. Jones posted another big save on a Neal tip and he was solid in the final frame when Nashville had a small push forward. Really, he could have played this one from a lawn chair for most of the game, but he was good when needed to be.
