Each night during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, former NHL goaltender Jamie McLennan provides his Post 2 Post rankings for every goaltender in action. Each goaltender will receive a score out of five based on their performance.

Rangers 7, Lightning 3

Ben Bishop - 2 - First shot on goal was a goal by Brassard, and a good play by the Rangers forward to get him to open up and Bishop gets beat five-hole. He did have a good save on Stepan early on though, and was strong on his posts as the Rangers shot from bad angles trying to catch him off his posts.

The Yandle goal hits a body in front, he had big saves on Brassard and Nash, and the Miller goal comes after a massive save on Brassard, no chance on that one. The Sheppard goal is a rebound goal with no chance either but and it doesn’t end well with the Brassard goal. Bishop was lifted on the mercy rule by Cooper to get ready for Game 7.

Henrik Lundqvist  - 4 – He was sharp early on with good with rebound control, not allowing a second shot or scramble around the net. He had a great left pad save on Stamkos on the penalty kill. The goal by Callahan was a good backhand breakaway play while he had big saves on Johnson and Kucherov, was aggressive in tight and was really strong on directing pucks out of trouble.

Lundqvist gave the Rangers a chance early in the game and they responded with some goal support. He didn’t, however, track the shot by Kucherov off the draw as got beat glove side. Kucherov’s second goal was a great pass by Johnson, through a seam, back door. He was brilliant when needed to be and added to his record in elimination games.

Andrei Vasilevskiy  - NR -  Mop up duty for Vasilevskiy; he had one big save and a goal against by Nash. No rating, he wasn’t really involved in game.
