SYDNEY, N.S. - The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles are moving on to the second round.

Giovanni Fiore scored twice and tacked on an assist as Cape Breton beat the visiting Chicoutimi Sagueenens 7-4 on Monday in Game 6 of their Quebec Major Junior Hockey League first-round playoffs series.

The Screaming Eagles won the best-of-seven set 4-2 and will face the Saint John Sea Dogs in the second round.

Pierre-Luc Dubois and Evgeny Svechnikov each had a goal and two assists for the Screaming Eagles, who also got goals from Massimo Carozza, Michael Joly and Maxim Lazarev.

Dmitry Zhukenov paced the Sagueneens with a pair of goals while Jonathan Bourcier and Frederic Allard added the others. Nicolas Roy chipped in with three assists.

Cape Breton's Alexandre Belanger made 28 saves for the win as Julio Billia stopped 24-of-31 shots for Chicoutimi.

The Screaming Eagles went 1 for 3 on the power play while the Sagueneens scored once on six chances with the man advantage.
