QMJHL: Cupper, Cataractes shut out Oceanic
Marvin Cupper made 27 saves to lead the Shawinigan Cataractes to a 3-0 victory over the Rimouski Oceanic in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action on Thursday night. Giovanni Fiore chipped in with two goals for Shawinigan (6-2-2) while Dennis Yan scored his fifth goal of the season to round out the offence.

RIMOUSKI, Que. - Marvin Cupper made 27 saves to lead the Shawinigan Cataractes to a 3-0 victory over the Rimouski Oceanic in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action on Thursday night.
Giovanni Fiore chipped in with two goals for Shawinigan (6-2-2) while Dennis Yan scored his fifth goal of the season to round out the offence.
Olivier Tremblay recorded the loss for Rimouski (8-2-0), making 40 saves.
Shawinigan scored once in nine power-play attempts while the Oceanic were unsuccessful on five chances.
The win moves Shawinigan ahead of Victoriaville in the East division with 14 points, two points behind first-place Rimouski.
