VICTORIAVILLE, Que. - Alexandre Goulet scored to force overtime and then added the winner 2:48 into the extra period as the Charlottetown Islanders downed the host Victoriaville Tigres 6-5 on Thursday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Filip Chaplik had a goal and two assists for the Islander (5-2-0), who also got goals from Will Thompson, Oliver Cooper and Filip Rydstrom.

Jacob Lapierre led the Tigres (2-5-0) with a pair of goals. Pascal Laberge, Kyle Tibbo and Mario Huber rounded out the offence.

Charlottetown's Mason McDonald made 35 saves for the win as Olivier Tremblay kicked out 33-of-39 shots in defeat.

The Islanders went 0 for 2 on the power play while the Tigres scored once on five chances with the man advantage.

BATHURST, N.B. — Bo Taylor stopped all 33 shots his way as Gatineau blanked the Titan.

Yan Pavel Laplante and Alexandre Carrier scored for the Olympiques (6-1-0) and Vitalii Abramov picked up an assist on each goal.

Reilly Pickard stopped 27-of-29 shots for Acadie-Bathurst (2-4-1).

VAL-D'OR. Que. — Michael Carcone, Joey Ratelle and Emanuel Aucoin each struck twice as Drummondville doubled up the Foreurs for its fifth win in a row.

Alex Barre-Boulet tacked on four helpers for the Voltigeurs (6-1-0) while Anthony Dumont-Bouchard made 33 saves for the victory.

Anthony Beauregard scored twice for the Val-d'Or (3-3-1) and William Gignac added the other. Etienne Monpetit turned away 24-of-30 shots in a losing cause.
