HALIFAX - Kameron Kielly had a goal and three assists as the Charlottetown Islanders beat the Halifax Mooseheads 6-4 on Saturday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Jake Coughler scored twice and added an assist for Charlottetown (23-23-7), which also got a pair of goals from Alexis Vanier. Filip Rydstrom had the other.

Arnaud Durandeau, Anthony Sorrentino, Barrett Dachyshyn and Jocktan Chainey supplied the offence for the Mooseheads (17-30-6).

Matthew Welsh made 32 saves for the win in net. Kevin Resop took the loss after turning away 10-of-15 shots in 28:35. Eric Brassard came on in relief and stopped 19 shots.

The Islanders converted twice on five power plays while Halifax was 1 for 5.

TIGRES 5 SEA DOGS 4

SAINT JOHN, N.B. — Alexandre Goulet had a goal and two assists as Victoriaville held off the Sea Dogs.

Vincent Lanoue scored the winner late in the third for the Tigres (25-19-7). Mathieu Ayotte, Marc Beckstead and Mario Huber rounded out the attack.

Mathieu Joseph scored his second goal of the game in a three-goal third period for Saint John (32-14-4). Luke Green and Nathan Noel also found the back of the net.

SYDNEY, N.S. — Giovanni Fiore scored 1:38 into extra time as the Screaming Eagles completed their comeback with a win over Shawinigan.

Evgeny Svechnikov, Loik Leveille and Michael Joly all had power-play goals for Cape Breton (26-22-6) in the third period.

Alex D'Aoust struck twice with Anthony Beauvillier adding the other for the Cataractes (33-14-4).

SHERBROOKE, Que. — Hugo Roy and Nicolas Poulin scored back-to-back goals in the second period as the Phoenix toppled Rimouski.

Guillaume Gauthier added insurance with a power-play goal in the third for Sherbrooke (20-25-7).

Simon Bourque responded with a goal on the man advantage in the third for the Oceanic (28-18-5).
