BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Vincent Lavoie had two goals and an assist in regulation while also scoring the deciding goal in the shootout as the Baie-Comeau Drakkar rallied past the Halifax Mooseheads 5-4 on Saturday night in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

D'Artagnan Joly also had two goals and an assist for the Drakkar (9-13-4), who scored three times in the span of 1:39 to erase a 4-1 deficit and force extra time.

Benoit-Olivier Groulx struck twice with Bradley Kennedy and Anthony Sorrentino also chipping in for Halifax (15-12-2).

Antoine Samuel picked up the win in net by stopping 37 shots. Alexis Gravel took the loss despite stopping all nine shots he faced in relief of Kevin Resop. Resop was pulled after kicking out 17-of-21 shots in 48 minutes.

Baie-Comeau was 1 for 5 on the power play while the Mooseheads converted twice on six opportunities with the man advantage.

ARMADA 5 OLYMPIQUES 2

GATINEAU, Que. — Joel Teasdale scored Blainville-Boisbriand's third goal of the first period and the winner in its victory over the Olympiques.

Connor Bramwell and Thomas Ethier also had goals in the first for the Armada (19-7-3), with Shaun Miller and Alexandre Alain adding the others in the third. Francis Leclerc made 22 saves.

Eric Eschweiler and Marc-Olivier Crevier-Morin found the back of the net for Gatineau (11-14-3). Mathieu Bellemare took the loss in relief by turning aside 18-of-20 shots. Mark Grametbeauer started but only lasted 1:33 after giving up goals on the first two shots he faced.

WILDCATS 4 HUSKIES 3 (SO)

MONCTON, N.B. — Jeremy McKenna and Kelly Klima both scored in the shootout as the Wildcats edged Rouyn-Noranda.

Klima, Manuel Wiederer, shorthanded, and Derek Dicaire supplied the offence in regulation for Moncton (11-17-0). Dominik Tmej stopped 23 shots and both shooters in the shootout.

Jean-Christophe Beaudin struck twice, once shorthanded and once on the power-play, for the Huskies (18-6-5). Philippe Myers also scored with the man advantage and Samuel Harvey turned aside 28 shots.

QUEBEC CITY — Jesse Sutton had two goals and an assist to lead the Remparts past Rimouski.

Jeremy Laframboise and Matthew Boucher also scored while Callum Booth made 26 saves for Quebec (17-10-3).

Simon Bourque replied for the Oceanic (13-15-1) and Alexandre Lagace turned aside 31 shots.
