SAINT JOHN, N.B. - Zachary Moody scored the decisive goal in a shootout to lead the Quebec Remparts to a 3-2 victory over the Saint John Sea Dogs in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action on Sunday.

Cody Donaghey and Kurt Etchegary scored in regulation for the Remparts (11-5-0), and Dmytro Timashov added a shoot-out goal.

Juraj Siska found the back of the net three times for Saint John (9-3-3) — once in the first period, once in the third, and once in the shootout.

Quebec's Callum Booth stopped 32 shots for the victory. Sea Dogs goaltender Sebastien Auger made 34 saves in the loss.

CHARLOTTETOWN — Daniel Sprong had a power-play goal and an assist as the Islanders beat Cape Breton.

Bradley Kennedy also had a power-play goal for Charlottetown (7-7-2), while Filip Chlapik assisted on both goals.

Kyle Farrell scored the only goal for Cape Breton (7-8-2).

GATINEAU, Que. — The Olympiques scored four straight goals in the second period and held off a late comeback to edge the Phoenix.

Fraser Turner, Joey Richard, Andrew Abou-Assaly and Alexandre Carrier all scored for the Olympiques (8-7-4) in the second frame, Louick Marcotte had a first-period, power-play goal, and Alexis Pepin rounded out the Gatineau offence with a power-play goal in the third.

Daniel Audette scored twice for Sherbrooke (12-5-0), which found the back of the net three times in the third period to make it a close game. Kay Schweri and Tim Wieser also scored.

RIMOUSKI, Que. — Alexis Loiseau scored two goals — including one shorthanded in the first period — as the Oceanic stormed past the Foreurs.

Simon Tremblay also scored twice for Rimouski (13-4-1), Frederick Gauthier had a power-play goal, Michael Joly added another shorthanded, and Tyler Boland, and Christopher Clapperton added single goals.

Julien Gauthier and Jeremie Fraser replied for Val-d'Or (5-11-1).

SHAWINIGAN, Que. — Ivan Barbashev scored three times and set up one more as Moncton slipped past the Cataractes.

Stephen Johnson, Vladimir Tkachev and Zachary Malatesta each had a goal and an assist for the Wildcats (9-7-0).

Gabriel Slight had a pair of goals for Shawinigan (8-8-2) while Evan Scott, Giovanni Fiore and Sebastien Gauthier added a goal apiece.

VICTORIAVILLE, Ont. — Antoine Marcoux and Angelo Miceli each scored twice and Samuel Blais had a goal and three assists as the Tigres hammered Halifax.

Julien Proulx, Carl Marois, Gabriel Gagne and Jordan Ty Fournier also scored for Victoriaville (8-5-2) as Brandon Whitney made 33 saves for the shutout.

Kevin Resop stopped 26-of-35 shots for the Mooseheads (5-9-2).
