ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. - Francis Perron scored for the fifth game in a row and Chase Marchand made 39 saves as the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies toppled the visiting Quebec Remparts 4-1 on Sunday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Perron now has nine goals and 19 points in 10 games to lead his club in scoring.

Jeremy Lauzon, Julien Nantel and Alexandre Sills also scored for the Huskies (10-1-3), who have earned at least one point in 12 straight games and sit atop the league standings.

Olivier Garneau supplied the offence for the Remparts (6-7-1), who have dropped back-to-back outings. Julian Galloway stopped 43-of-46 shots to give Quebec a chance to win.

Rouyn-Noranda went 1 for 3 on the power play while the Remparts failed to score on five chances with the man advantage.

SCREAMING EAGLES 5 TITAN 2

SYDNEY, N.S. — Evgeny Svechnikov had two goals and an assist and Alexandre Belanger made 25 saves as Cape Breton handed Acadie-Bathurst its third straight loss.

Yannik Bertrand and Colin MacSween each had a goal and an assist for the Screaming Eagles (6-6-2) and Jonathan Deschamps added the other.

Christophe Boivin struck twice for the Titan (3-10-1). Daryl MacCallum started in net and allowed two goals on four shots in 10:03 of action before giving way to Reilly Pickard, who stopped 18-of-21 shots in relief.

WILDCATS 7 MOOSEHEADS 1

MONCTON, N.B. — Conor Garland had a pair of goals and Sebastien Dupre only had to make 13 saves as the Wildcats hammered Halifax.

Kelly Klima, Stephen Johnson, Manuel Wiederer, William Bower and Eric Leger also found the back of the net for Moncton (9-4-1).

Danny Moynihan kept the Mooseheads (4-8-2) from being shut out. Eric Brassard turned away 30-of-36 shots before Kevin Resop took over for the final 11:27. Resop made three saves in relief.

BOISBRIAND, Que. — Shawn Ouellette-St-Amant set up the game's first goal and then added insurance into an empty net as Val-d'Or downed the Armada.

Julien Gauthier and Anthony Richard also scored for the Foreurs (9-5-1), who got a 17-save outing from Etienne Monpetit.

Joel Teasdale responded for Blainville-Boisbriand (5-6-2), which has lost three in a row. Samuel Montembeault made 20 saves in defeat.

RIMOUSKI, Que. — Nicolas Roy broke a 2-2 deadlock at 16:01 of the third period and Julio Billia made 32 saves as Chicoutimi squeezed past the Oceanic for its fourth straight victory.

Zachary Lavigne and Gabryel Paquin-Boudreau also scored for the Sagueneens (4-8-1), who opened their season with nine losses in a row.

Dylan Montcalm and Antoine Dufort-Plante supplied the offence for Rimouski (8-3-0) while Charles-Antoine Poirier-Turcot kicked out 27-of-30 shots in a losing cause.

SHERBROOKE, Que. — Mathieu Olivier scored the shootout winner and Giovanni Fiore had a pair of goals in regulation as Shawinigan erased a 4-1 deficit to beat the Phoenix for its fifth win in a row.

Dennis Yan and Nicholas Welsh also scored in regulation for the Cataractes (11-2-0) while Anthony Beauvillier chipped in with four assists. Mikhail Denisov earned the win after stopping 13-of-14 shots in 45 minutes of relief. Frederic Foulem gave up three goals on eight shots and started the second period on the bench.

Daniel Audette scored twice for Sherbrooke (4-9-2) and assisted on goals from Jeremy Roy and Nicolas Poulin for a four-point outing. Evan Fitzpatrick made 43 saves to force the shootout.
