BATHURST, N.B. - Jeffrey Truchon-Viel had a pair of goals as the Acadie-Bathurst Titan beat the Halifax Mooseheads 5-3 on Wednesday night in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Christophe Boivin, Jordan Maher and Daniil Miromanov also scored for the Titan (5-11-2). Reilly Pickard turned away 39 shots for the win in net.

Danny Moynihan struck twice while adding an assist for Halifax (6-10-2). Maxime Fortier had the other and Timo Meier chipped in with three assists. Kevin Resop kicked out 24-of-28 shots in 57:57. Backup Eric Brassard played 17 seconds of relief but didn't face a shot.

Acadie-Bathurst was scoreless on four power-play attempts while the Mooseheads were 0 for 5.

SYDNEY, N.S. — Maxim Lazarev scored 1:23 into overtime as the Screaming Eagles got past Moncton.

Evgeny Svechnikov, Pierre-Luc Dubois, Colby Tower, Dillon Boucher and Olivier LeBlanc supplied the rest of the offence for Cape Breton (8-8-2). Anthony Sorrentino tacked on three assists.

Conor Garland led the attack for Moncton (11-5-2) with a goal and two assists. Liam Murphy, Cameron Askew, Manuel Wiederer and Kevin Klima also chipped in.

Nicolas Lachance turned away 15-of-19 shots in 40 minutes of work for Drummondville (10-8-0). Anthony Dumont-Bouchard made six saves in 20 minutes of relief.
