QUEBEC — The Drummondville Voltigeurs scored five times in the first period, then added four more goals in the second to blow the game open en route to a 10-2 victory over the host Quebec Remparts on Sunday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Joey Ratelle, Anthony Boucher and Charley Graaskamp led the Voltigeurs offence with two goals and an assist each while Nicolas Beaudin and Pavel Koltygin tacked on three helpers apiece.

Mathieu Sevigny, Kristian Afanasyev, Jean-Simon Dionne and Nathan Hudgin also scored for Drummondville (2-0-0), which got a 27-save effort from Frederic Foulem.

Yanick Turcotte found the back of the net for the Remparts (1-1-0) and set up another goal from Olivier Garneau.

Evgeny Kiselev started in net for Quebec and allowed five goals on 11 shots in the first period. Samuel Cardinal took over to start the second but didn't fare any better, getting yanked after giving up three goals on 11 shots in 12:44 of action. Kiselev came back in to finish the game and stopped 22-of-29 shots in total.

The Voltigeurs went 2 for 4 on the power play while the Remparts failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.

ISLANDERS 6 WILDCATS 2

MONCTON, N.B. — Kameron Kielly had a five-point outing that included a pair of goals and Matthew Welsh kicked out 24 shots as Charlottetown came from behind to topple the Wildcats.

Jake Coughler and and Chris Chaddock also scored two goals apiece for the Islanders (2-0-0) while Cody Donaghey chipped in with three assists.

Simon Le Coultre and Derek Dicaire built an early 2-0 lead for Moncton (1-1-0). Matthew Waite turned away 9-of-13 shots in 25:39 before giving way to Julian Galloway, who made 14 saves in relief.

GATINEAU, Que. — James Pavall made 23 saves and Felix Lauzon had a hat trick as Victoriaville blanked the Olympiques.

The Tigres (2-0-0) also got goals from Felix Pare and James Phelan.

Mathieu Bellemare gave up five goals on 18 shots for Gatineau (0-2-0). Tristan Berube took over in the second period and stopped all 10 shots his way in 25:11 of relief.
