QMJHL: Yan helps Cataractes edge Voltigeurs

DRUMMONDVILLE, Que. - Dennis Yan scored the winner 4:27 into overtime as the Shawinigan Cataractes edged the host Drummondville Voltigeurs 3-2 on Tuesday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Gabriel Slight and Mathieu Olivier also scored for the Cataractes (33-24-3).
Julien Avon and Frederic Aube supplied the offence for the Voltigeurs (24-33-4), who are on a three-game slide.
Shawinigan's Marvin Cupper made 13 saves for the win as Joe Fleschler turned away 26-of-29 shots for Drummondville.
The Cataractes went 0 for 1 on the power play while the Voltigeurs failed to convert on either of their opportunities with the man advantage.
