Buffery: Toronto should be bidding for 2028 Olympics
Steve Buffery, columnist with The Toronto Sun, hopped on The Bryan Hayes Show hosted by Tony Ambrogio to talk about a potential Olympic bid from the city of Toronto to host the 2024 Summer Olympics. Buffery has covered 10 Olympic games and thinks Toronto is more likely to get the 2028 games because the IOC will chose Europe as a destination for the 2024 games based on previous patterns. Buffery believes Toronto has the venues in place already, which gives them a significant advantage over other potential host cities.
