ALAMEDA, Calif. — Oakland Raiders reserve defensive tackle Darius Latham has been suspended four games by the NFL for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

Lathan will be eligible to return Nov. 6, one day after Oakland's game in Miami.

"It's unfortunate," Raiders coach Jack Del Rio said Monday. "He'll do the things he needs to do to get himself back."

Latham was inactive for Oakland's first four games and played sparingly during Sunday's 30-17 loss to the Baltimore Ravens when he was credited with two tackles. The 22-year-old started two games for the Raiders in 2016 after making the 53-man roster as an undrafted free agent.
