NEW YORK, N.Y. - The New York Rangers have signed veteran forward Daniel Paille.

General manager Jeff Gorton announced the signing of the 10-year veteran on Thursday. He has played in 31 games with the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL, collecting a goal and three assists.

Paille has played 570 NHL games over parts of 10 seasons with Buffalo and Boston, registering 85 goals and 87 assists, In six seasons with the Bruins (2009-15), he had 50 goals and 45 assists, helping Boston win the Stanley Cup in 2010-11. He had six goals and seven assists in 71 games with the Bruins last season.

The 31-year-old Paille was originally selected by Buffalo in the first round, 20th overall, of the 2002 NHL draft.
