The Rangers announced Yovani Gallardo will start Game 1 and Cole Hamels Game 2 against the Jays at the Rogers Centre.
Gallardo finished the regular season with a 13-11 record, 3.42 ERA, and 1.42 WHIP.
Hamels, whom the Rangers acquired from the Philadelphia Phillies at the trade deadline, finished the regular season with a combined 13-8 record, 3.65 ERA, and 1.19 WHIP.
