The Toronto Raptors have added a veteran power forward in free agency.

According to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski, the Raptors are finalizing a one-year deal with Luis Scola worth nearly $3 million.

Scola took to Twitter just after midnight on Thursday to announce he was joining the Raptors.

The 35-year-old has appeared in 631 career games over eight NBA seasons.

He spent last season with the Indiana Pacers, averaging 9.4 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game (20.5 minutes). He dressed in 81 games and started 16.

Scola was drafted into the league in the second round of the of the 2002 NBA Draft, but didn't make his debut until 2007, when he played in all 82 games with the Houston Rockets.
