A Canadian is on his way to the Toronto Raptors.

According to an ESPN report, unrestricted free agent and Toronto native Cory Joseph has agreed on a four-year, $30 million deal with the Raptors.

Joseph tweeted out his excitement for the new deal late Sunday night.

The 23-year-old has spent his entire four-year NBA career with the San Antonio Spurs, winning a title in 2014.

Joseph averaged 6.8 points, 2.4 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game in 79 contests with the Spurs in 2014-15. He also appeared in four postseason games.

He was selected 29th overall by the Spurs in the 2011 NBA Draft.

Joseph will become just the second Canadian-born player to dress for the Raptors, joining Jamaal Magloire.
