OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Baltimore Ravens have obtained cornerback Will Davis from the Miami Dolphins for a 2016 seventh-round draft pick.

Now in his third season, Davis was selected by Miami in the third round of the 2013 draft out of Utah State.

His career has thus far been marred by injuries. Davis played five games as a rookie, and last year he missed the final six weeks after hurting his knee in November.

Davis has played in 15 games overall, none this season, and has not yet started.

This year he was in danger of not making the team coming out of training camp, but made two interceptions in the final exhibition game and survived the last roster cut.

The Ravens hope Davis can aid a defence that allowed 351 yards passing and three touchdowns Sunday in a 37-33 loss to Oakland.
