Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti has tipped his hand ahead of the upcoming NFL Draft on his team's needs.

Speaking to ESPN earlier this week, Bisciotti said the need must add tight end in the draft, but claimed another perceived need isn't seen as such by him.

"We absolutely need a tight end," Bisciotti said. "We do not absolutely need a wide receiver."

The Ravens signed tight end Dennis Pitta to a five-year contract prior to the 2014 season, but his career is in jeopardy after dislocating his hip for a second time in September.

The team also drafted tight end Crockett Gillmore in the third round of last year's draft. Gillmore caught just 10 passes for 121 yards in2014.

Wide receiver was viewed as a need for the Ravens throughout the season for the Ravens, who signed 35-year-old Steve Smith to play opposite of Torrey Smith. The latter Smith signed with the San Francisco 49ers last month and Steve Smith is set to turn 36 and his production dip in second half of the season.

Along with Steve Smith, the Ravens have Marlon Brown, Kamar Aiken and Michael Campanaro on the depth chart at wide receiver. Brown had 255 receiving yards last season, Aiken accounted for 267 yards and three touchdowns, and Campanaro played in just four games, totaling 102 yards.

Twenty nine per cent of mock drafts surveyed by TSN having the Ravens selecting wide receiver Jalen Strong with the 26th overall pick on April 30.
