The Toronto Argonauts could be going back to Ricky Ray behind centre when they take on the Calgary Stampeders Friday.

TSN's Matthew Scianitti reports he is hearing Ray will start for the Argos in Week 18, as current starter Drew Willy deals with a shoulder injury.

For Ray, it would be his first start since Labour Day Weekend. The veteran QB took first team reps with the Argos Monday and is scheduled to come off the six-game injured list this week.

Willy injured his shoulder in the team's loss to the Stampeders last weekend, and according to a report from the Canadian Press, head coach Scott Milanovich said he will likely end up on the one-game injured list.
