Indianapolis Colts running back Trent Richardson did not travel with the team to New England for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Patriots.
According to Colts.com, Richardson did not make the trip due to personal reasons.
Richardson was inactive for last week's AFC Divisional Playoff game against Denver and played just one snap in the team's wild card win over Cincinnati the previous week.
Dan Herron and Zurlon Tipton have taken over as the featured backs in the Colts' offense.
Richardson led the Colts this season with just 519 rushing yards, but averaged only 3.3 yards per carry.
