Red Wings put D Kindl on IR, call up Ouellet from AHL
The Detroit Red Wings have put defenceman Jakub Kindl on the injured list because of an elbow problem. Detroit recalled defenceman Xavier Ouellet from Grand Rapids of the AHL on Tuesday. Ouellet has played in nine games this season with the Red Wings, recording his first NHL point on Nov. 22 at Toronto.

DETROIT - The Detroit Red Wings have put defenceman Jakub Kindl on the injured list because of an elbow problem.
Detroit recalled defenceman Xavier Ouellet from Grand Rapids of the AHL on Tuesday.
Ouellet has played in nine games this season with the Red Wings, recording his first NHL point on Nov. 22 at Toronto. He scored his first NHL goal six days later at New Jersey. He has eight points in 21 games with Grand Rapids.
The Red Wings host New Jersey on Wednesday night.
