TORONTO — Trevor Harris continues to make the Ottawa Redblacks look good on the field and shrewd in the front office.

For the third time in four weeks, the Redblacks quarterback has been named one of the CFL's top performers. Harris set a new single-game completion percentage record (minimum 30-plus attempts) with 90.3 per cent after completing 28-of 31 passes for 392 yards in a 30-20 win at Toronto on Wednesday. Harris also ran in a touchdown against his former team.

Ottawa signed Harris in the off-season to back up 41-year-old Henry Burris, last year's CFL outstanding player of the year.

He has paid immediate dividends in Ottawa. After coming into the Redblacks' season-opener in Edmonton in relief of the injured Burris, Harris has stepped up and led the club to an 3-0-1 record to start the year.

Harris leads the league is several passing categories including passing yards (1,475), passing touchdowns (nine), and completion percentage (82.5 per cent).

Hamilton defensive lineman Adrian Tracy and B.C. quarterback Jonathon Jennings were the week's other top performers.

Tracy set career highs in tackles (11), sacks (two) and forced fumbles (two) in a single game as the Tiger-Cats downed Montreal 31-7.

Jennings threw for a career-high 429 yards and hit receivers for three touchdowns as the Lions earned a 40-27 road victory over Saskatchewan.
