LONDON - Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp says he has patched up his differences with Adel Taarabt and could play the Morocco playmaker against Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday.

Redknapp recently accused Taarabt of refusing to train properly and being "about three stone overweight," comments described by QPR owner Tony Fernandes as embarrassing for the club.

Redknapp says he had a "great chat" on Monday with Taarabt, who "admitted he needs to get fitter and work harder and he's told me he's going to do that."

Speaking two days before the west London derby against the unbeaten Premier League leaders, Redknapp says "Adel might be involved this weekend. I wouldn't hesitate to put him in the squad."
