Rep for Bertuzzi having ongoing discussions with Senators about tryout
Todd Bertuzzi's agent Pat Morris is having ongoing discussions with the Ottawa Senators about arranging a professional tryout with the AHL's Binghamton Senators. Bertuzzi, who turns 40 on Feb. 2, is an unrestricted free agent. The winger skated in 59 games last season for the Detroit Red Wings and had nine goals and seven assists.

Bertuzzi, who turns 40 on Feb. 2, is an unrestricted free agent. The winger skated in 59 games last season for the Detroit Red Wings and had nine goals and seven assists.
The veteran of 18 NHL seasons has played for the New York Islanders, Vancouver, Florida, Anaheim and Calgary and has had two stints in Detroit. His best season came in 2002-03 with Vancouver when he had 46 goals and 51 assists.
