Darnell Dockett is reportedly a free agent for the second time this year.

According to Pro Football Talk, the San Francisco 49ers cut the veteran defensive tackle on Friday.

Dockett, 34, signed a two-year $7.25 million contract with the 49ers in March after being released by the Arizona Cardinals. Dockett had spent his entire pro career with the Cardinals since being drafted in the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft.

He missed the entire 2014 season due to injury

Dockett logged no tackles and one pass defended while appearing in two preseason contests with the 49ers.
