The Philadelphia 76ers are planning to finalize an agreement with forward Ersan Ilyasova once his buyout with the Atlanta Hawks is complete according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.

If bought out by the Hawks, he will be allowed to sign as an unrestricted free agent. He is set to join former Hawks teammate Marco Belinelli in signing with the Sixers, who was bought out by Atlanta just over two weeks ago.

The Toronto Raptors had interest in both according to TSN's Josh Lewenberg. Sources told him that the club knew signing in Toronto would be a tough sell because both players prioritized guaranteed playing time over anything else, something the Raptors did not or could not offer.

In 46 games so far this season, Ilyasova is averaging 10.9 points per game to go along with 5.5 rebounds. This is the 30-year-old's second stint in Philadelphia, playing 53 games there last season after coming over from the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The 76ers will take on the Washington Wizards on the road Sunday night.
