The Buffalo Bills are set for a home game in Detroit.

The Bills will host the New York Jets at 7pm et/4pm pt. Monday night at Ford Field in Detroit, NFL vice president of football communications Michael Signora confirmed Thursday.

The Bills had been set to host the Jets at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday, however a severe snowstorm forced the game to postponed and relocated.

More than 5 feet of snow have fallen on the region since Monday, and another 1 to 3 feet was projected to fall by Friday.

"We greatly appreciate the hospitality of the Detroit Lions in hosting the Bills and this game, which will be televised by CBS in the New York and Buffalo area markets," The NFL said in a statement Friday. While Ford Field could have hosted the game on Sunday, in order to give the Bills as much practice time as possible under the circumstances, the decision to play on Monday night was made.  The Lions’ practice facility will be available to the Bills on Friday and moving the game to Monday night will enable the Bills to practice on Friday and Saturday and have their walk-through on Sunday.  The Bills have been unable to practice this week in Buffalo.

The league added details on ticket sales will be announced at a later date.
