The Atlanta Braves have reportedly reached a one-year deal with catcher A.J. Pierzynski.

MLB.com's Mark Bowman first reported the deal, which he stated would likely not be official until 2015.

Pierzynski, 38, saw 102 games with the Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals in 2014. He hit a combined .251 with five home runs and 37 runs batted-in.

A 17-year MLB veteran, Pierzynski has a .281 career average with 177 home runs and 837 RBI in 1,865 games with the Cardinals, Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, Minnesota Twins, Texas Rangers, San Francisco Giants.

Pierzynski made $8.25 million last season on a one-year deal he signed with the Red Sox.
