The agent for Derek Carr called the quarterback’s finger injury a minor situation that won’t require surgery.

Speaking to the San Francisco Chronicle, Carr’s agent Tim Younger said the Oakland Raiders QB will probably be throwing before the end of the team’s offseason workouts.

Carr sat out the start of the team’s OTAs this week after experiencing numbness in his right ring finger, a condition that can be nerve-related.

A source told ESPN’s Chris Mortensen the Raiders are hoping Carr’s finger responds well to rehab and the team isn’t overly alarmed about the condition.
