Brett Cecil is sticking with the birds, but of a different feather.

The former Toronto Blue Jays left-handed reliever has signed a four-year deal with the St. Louis Cardinals. The deal is worth $30.5 million and is pending a physical, reports FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal.

The 29-year-old native of Dunkirk, Maryland has spent his entire eight-year major league career with the Blue Jays.

He made 54 appearances for the team last season, going 1-7 with a .393 earned run average and a WHIP of 1.282 in 36.2 innings pitched.

An All-Star in 2013, Cecil came into the league as a starter and won 15 games in 2010. Cecil converted into a full-time reliever in 2012.

Rosenthal notes that the contract comes with a full no-trade provision.

The deal was first reported by Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports.
