The San Diego Chargers have agreed to a new contract with one of their pending free agents at the 11th hour.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Chargers have reached a four-year agreement with cornerback Brandon Flowers two days before he would have become a free agent.

Flowers was a nice addition to the Chargers last season after he was a surprise cut by the Kansas City Chiefs. The 29-year-old finished with 52 tackles, three interceptions, and 11 pass breakups.
