According to a report by Henry Schulman, the San Francisco Giants and pitcher Ryan Vogelsong have agreed on a one-year deal worth $4 million plus performance bonuses.

Vogelsong has spent the last four seasons with the Giants. Last year, he posted a 8-13 record with a 4.00 ERA.

The 37-year-old was originally drafted by the Giants in the fifth round of the 1998 Draft. He was traded a year after his debut and spent five seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Between 2006 and 2010, Vogelsong struggled to return to the major leagues but emerged as an All-Star with San Francisco in 2011.
