Report: Gomez to Mets trade falls through
The New York Mets will have to look somewhere else for outfield help as their deal for Carlos Gomez from the Milwaukee Brewers has fallen through, according to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com. The deal, which was originally reported by Joel Sherman of the New York Post, would have seen pitcher Zack Wheeler and shortstop Wilmer Flores head to the Brewers.
