Tyson Alualu will not be hitting free agency.

According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jacksonville Jaguars have agreed to a two-year contract extension with the defensive lineman.

A former first round draft pick, Alualu has moved from defensive tackle to defensive end in his four years with the Jaguars, and while he’s never lived up to his high billing, has been a solid contributor in Jacksonville.

Despite losing his starting spot prior to last season, the 27-year-old still finished with 30 tackles and two sacks.
