The Toronto Blue Jays may have added depth to their outfield as Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports is reporting that they have agreed to a minor league deal with free-agent outfielder Dayan Viciedo.

In 145 games last season with the Chicago White Sox, the 25-year-old hit 21 home runs and collected 58 RBIs while posting a .231 batting average and .281 on base percentage.

The Remedios, Villa Clara, Cuba native was signed as a free-agent by the White Sox in 2008.  He made his Major League debut in 2010 and spent five years with the franchise.

Canadian outfielder Michael Saunders injured his knee early in pre-season when he stepped on a sprinkler head while shagging fly balls during batting practice.  He is expected to be out until mid-April after having 60-percent of the meniscus cartilage removed from his left knee.
