The Toronto Blue Jays have signed outfielder Michael Bourn to minor-league contract, according to MLB on FOX reporter Ken Rosenthal.

The 33-year-old veteran was cut by the Atlanta Braves ahead of the season opener in early April.

Bourn, along with Nick Swisher, joined the Braves from Cleveland in an August 2015 trade for third baseman Chris Johnson.

Bourn hit .238 with a .592 OPS and 17 stolen bases in 482 plate appearances last season with the Indians and Braves, including .221 with a .561 OPS in 46 games for the Braves.
