It doesn't appear veteran All-Star catcher Yadier Molina is leaving St. Louis anytime soon.

Molina and the Cardinals are reportedly closing in on a three-year contract extension that could be worth between $55 and $65 million, according to Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal.

Molina has spent his entire 13-year career with the Cards and is entering the final season of a five-year, $75 million contract he signed prior to 2013. That contract includes a mutual $15 million option for the 2018 campaign.

The 34-year-old hit .307 with eight home runs and 58 runs batted in over 147 games in 2016. He also produced a .360 on-base percentage and a .427 slugging percentage.

The seven-time All-Star and two-time World Series champion has a career .285 average with 108 homers and 703 RBIs over 1611 games.
